Antique Sambar Stag and Willow Bow Sheep Drop Point

It doesn't get more ideal than this- ergonomic and tougher than nails in a size you can use with your eyes closed. I forged this drop point from a 2" round bar of 52100 ball bearing steel and after all is said and done it measures 3 1/2" from tip to guard with a razor sharp 3D convex grind. The riccasso allows for a confident choked up variety of grips without sacrificing blade strength by a cut choil. The heat treat includes mulitple quenches and thermal cycles for a next-level optimization you can count your life on. The brass guard is staked and cold forged to the tang above black, maroon, white and gray vulcanized fiber with a single Willow Bow sheep horn spacer. The sambar stag handle is repurposed from an antique cutlery set with the original German silver butt cap still in place. Overall length measures about 8 1/4" and it comes in one of my custom pouch sheaths. Maker's mark reads "GC" on the blade and "Cunninghammer" on the leather.
