Galactic Three-Piece Willow Bow Sheep EDC

This one might be my favorite knife I've made to date. Right in the pocket of a sizeable carry, yet tough enough for the roughest jobs the backcountry may throw your way. 

It's forged from a 2" 52100 ball bearing steel round bar and measures just over 3" from tip to guard with a razor sharp 3D convex grind and a finger choke riccasso that yields variable ergonomic grips for whatever job is in front of you. The steel received triple quench and heat treatments in Texaco type A oil for a truly optimized tool. The brass guard is milled, hand-filed, cold-forged and staked to the tang before I soldered in the gaps above black, maroon, white and gray spacers amidst three Willow Bow sheep horn spacers. I was playing with mirrored and inverted layouts when I laid it out as seen and felt like I could see a galaxy- mind blowing stuff! The overall length measures just over 6 1/2" and it comes in one of my custom leather belt pouch sheaths. Maker's mark includes "GC" on the blade and "Cunninghammer" on the leather.

Maker's note: the straight lines visible in the steel are a product of  mis-arranged steps of the first and second of three heat treat cycles. Upon discovery, we put these knives through the ringer tests and having still passed, completed the work. I guarantee my workmanship and your satisfaction.
