Hawaiian Axis Crotch Stag Drop Point

It's a true statement that the sweep of this Hawaiian Axis stag handle lays into the right hand like a warm puppy in your lap.

 

I forged the drop point blade shape out of a John Deere 5160 round bar and she measures 4 1/2" from tip to guard with a razor sharp convex grind, some light residual hammermarks, and a ricasso you can choke up on when the work gets technical or you need a Vulcan death grip. The copper guard is cold forged, staked and soldered in place over black, maroon, white and gray spacers as well as the aforementioned crotch stag handle. Overall length measures 9 1/4" and it comes in one of my arrow-stitched custom pouch sheaths (notably, my best one yet). I guarantee my work for life!
