Premium Sambar Stag Camp Fighter

One moment you’re in camp chopping logs, the next you’re a defacto grizzly bear fighter, defending your loins and loved ones. Thank goodness you have THIS knife because it is ready to handle ALL OF THAT! It’s forged from 52100 ball bearings (yes, once a ball of steel and now a blade) and features Ed Fowler’s extensive and refined heat treat recipe that takes about a week and ensures a molecular structure significantly stronger than just about any other out there. The three dimension convex grind aids in slicing but it’s beefy enough for those heavy tasks- brass edge chip tests, stabbing and prying- it did all of that in pre-finish testing. The brass guard is meticulously fit and staked in place from the bottom before I use silver solder to fill any leftover gaps and seize it to the tang. The white vulcanized fiber and green g10 spacers meet premium sambar stag that Mudbone gave me for this project and for which I am truly grateful. The overall length measures just a little over 11” and it feels really cozy in hand, plus the riccassoo on the blade allows for a choked up grip for the technical work. She will do it all, and I guarantee the knife and custom pack sheath for life. The blade is marked GC and I Jolly Cunninghammer stamped the leather sheath as I made that too.
