Sambar Stag, Leather and Aluminum Fighter
Fewer things could be uglier than a knife fight, but contrarily I've always found fighting knives to be some of the most intriguing. A combat zone is the toughest and most diverse applications of a knife, and I put a lot of extra work into my blades to assure they can handle and deliver the unthinkable. Forged from John Deere 5160 load control shaft bar, the blade measures 5 3/8" from tip to guard with a razor sharp convex grind and an extended ricasso that sturdies the construction of the blade in a prying disaster but also gives a cozy spot to choke up on for technical jobs. The long nickel silver guard is soldered in place above maroon g10, leather spacers and a chunk of premium sambar stag bone, all of which are butted with copper-pinned aluminum. The overall length measures just under 10" and it will come in a custom pouch sheath that is in process. Come hell, highwater, or Russians, I guarantee this knife for life.
